Philadelphia Swaps Miller to Virginia for Thompson
Tuesday, June 29th, 1993
BNN has learned the Philadelphia Railroaders have reportedly worked out a deal with the Virginia Mariners. Sources close to the Railroaders indicated that a trade has been reached in principle where 22-year-old minor league RHP Taylor Thompson and 21-year-old minor league LHP Ju-ho Jun will be swapped to Philadelphia with 31-year-old LHP Sixten Miller and $50,000 in cash heading to Virginia. Neither organization would comment on the report, saying it was club policy not to speak about a trade until it was finalized.

In his career stats, Miller has won 10 and lost 9, collecting 269 strikeouts and 62 walks in 207.2 innings with a 3.73 ERA. Opponents have hit .231 against him.
